Bank card details are entered in a secure window on the processing centre’s payment page. Refunds are issued in accordance with the StudyRoom service agreement.
To make a payment, enter your card number, cardholder name, expiry date and three-digit security code (CVV2 for Visa cards or CVC2 for MasterCard cards) on the payment page. All the required details can be found on your bank card.
CVV2 / CVC2 is a three-digit security code located on the back of your card. After you enter your details, your card issuer’s page will open, where you will need to enter a 3-D Secure verification code. If you have not set up a static 3-D Secure code, a code will be sent to your phone number by SMS. If you do not receive the code, contact the bank that issued your card.
3-D Secure is a modern technology for securing online payments. It verifies the cardholder’s identity and significantly reduces the risk of fraudulent transactions.
Reasons a payment may be declined:
— the bank card is not enabled for online payments (check with your card issuer for details);
— there are insufficient funds on the bank card (contact the bank that issued your card for balance information);
— the bank card details have been entered incorrectly;
— the bank card has expired.
The card’s expiry date is usually shown on the front of the card and indicates the month and year until which the card is valid. For further information, contact your card issuer.
